Delete your account and data.
APPLIES TO THE CASEWEAVE APP AND WEB PORTAL · ANY ACCOUNT TYPE
Delete it yourself — in the app
Sign in at caseweavelegal.com → Account → Delete account. You'll confirm with your password. If you still own active cases, the app asks you to delete or transfer each one first — deleting a case destroys its encryption key, which makes that case's data permanently unreadable. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.
Or request it
Email support@caseweavelegal.com from the email address on your account with the subject "Delete my account". We verify it's really you, then complete the deletion within 30 days and confirm when it's done.
Delete data without deleting your account
You don't have to close your account to remove data. Inside CaseWeave you can delete an entire case (its encryption key is destroyed and every document, photo, message, and check-in in it becomes permanently unreadable), or delete individual documents, journal entries, day-log records, and mail. Deletions are immediate. You can also email support@caseweavelegal.com with subject "Delete my data" describing what to remove — handled within 30 days.
What gets deleted
Your profile, sign-in credentials, mailboxes, journals, logs, and every case you own — their encryption keys are destroyed, so the underlying data can never be read again. This covers all the data types the app collects: email address, user IDs, photos and videos, audio, files and documents, messages, and location check-ins.
What can remain
Copies of case material you explicitly shared with another party (for example, your attorney's own file of a shared case) belong to that party and their professional record-keeping obligations. Minimal billing and security-audit records may be retained where the law requires it. Questions: support@caseweavelegal.com — a person answers.
